Deshaun Watson doesn't think he has a problem but Dee Haslam says she hopes he considers counseling nonetheless.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Deshaun Watson doesn’t believe he needs to talk to a therapist about the issues that resulted in 24 accusations from massage therapists of sexual misconduct, but Browns owner Dee Haslam hopes he considers it.
“But like I said before, I’ve never assaulted anyone, I’ve never disrespected anyone, I’ve always been respectful. That’s what I’ve always stood on and who I am as a person.’’ While he steadfastly maintains his innocence and the Browns stand by his character, Dee Haslam said on a Zoom conference that she hopes he will talk to professionals about the events of the past year.
Watson vowed to perform community service in the Cleveland area like he did in Houston, and hopes that fans will come to see that he’s a good person.
