Jay Slater went missing in Tenerife last Monday
A top detective has warned of "gloomy" signs surrounding the disappearance of missing teenager Jay Slater as the search for him continues.
Now, a former Scotland Yard Detective, Peter Bleksley, has spoken to GB News about the "gloomy" signs which are currently surrounding the search.He said he is concerned the search for Jay "may not have a happy ending" as there have so far been "no significant updates" in the search. He added the "signs are really quite gloomy" - pointing to how Jay had a phone which was out of battery and had no fluids with him.
Bleksley said: "What they do not want is to surrender any control of this search for Jay to any other body, which inherently they would do."
