A 41-year-old man arrested on Tuesday has been released on bail to allow further enquiries
The father-of-four was discovered in the park in Lurgan on the evening of Thursday, January 12 and was subsequently pronounced dead.
Detectives say they believe Shane Whitla was shot in an alley off Woodville Street in the town before staggering to Lord Lurgan Park where he died. "He was arrested this evening, Wednesday January 18th and taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning following the search of a house in the Lurgan area.
