Diarmuid Gavin is giving his Wicklow garden a makeover and has spilt more than a bit of soil in the process.
"I’m in the middle of bringing some very large tree ferns in and we’ve made a right mess. I've dug up a lot of the garden to bring these huge trunks in, a lot of them are held up with scaffolding boards. There are seven big ones, and a few smaller ones, some of them are 12 feet high.""I waited two years for these to be imported. As soon as they arrived I was first into the nursery, Gardenworld in Wicklow.
