East Kilbride is the place to be this week if you're looking to distract the kids, with plenty of fun at a prehistoric event featuring a giant T-Rex and live critters like tarantulas, scorpions and giant snails.
For some Easter break fun, one shopping centre not far from Glasgow is hosting a prehistoric event with some exciting guests.
Running from April 8 until 12, the shows will feature Bruno the giant T-Rex, who will be joined by his baby dino pals and some incredible live dino descendants, including snakes, scorpions, tarantulas and more. On Friday, April 12, wildlife specialists Zoolab will host meet-and-greet workshops in Plaza, where children can get up close and personal with a variety of creepy crawlies.
For adventurous young dino hunters, there will also be an opportunity to take part in a prehistoric egg trail around the centre – spot all the hatching dino Easter eggs and you could win a fab prize – while the centre’s sit-on Triceratops will be available for some iconic selfies.
