Shabena Ahmed and her three kids live at the property but are in danger of being kicked out

A disabled mum could be forced out of an "illegal" back garden bungalow built without planning permission. Shabena Ahmed lives at the property with her three children, but the family are in serious danger of being kicked out, reports Manchester Evening News.

He said: "We are living in challenging times when families cannot afford to pay rent to live in houses across Manchester. We hope that the councillors can support our application so that Shabena and her kids can live as close as possible to the family and don't become a burden on social housing." Mr Jones says that the family do not have to knock down the 'granny annexe' but instead remove the fence which makes it a separate dwelling. He added that other modifications might also have to be made to make sure the property's floorspace meets the standards required for the number of bedrooms it contains.
