Drogheda lost 4-2 to Dundalk in last night's Louth derby.
Drogheda boss Kevin Doherty admits his team shot themselves in the foot in tonight’s Louth derby after coughing up four soft goals.
Neither manager saw that incident when two dozen fans engaged in fighting following the final whistle. At least one arrest was made by Gardai who calmed the situation. “When you watch the goals that went in against us tonight, you can see why we are where we are. It was nowhere near good enough.“The first and the fourth goals were just horrendous. We don’t deserve anything from the game.”
Although they are still in a relegation play-off position, they are now just four points off Bohs in eighth position.
