Dog owners in Renfrewshire are being invited to Barshaw Park on Sunday, May 14, to join in on a mass dog walk as part of the Take the Lead campaign.
The walk will start at 1pm in the park and pooch owners who attend will receive a bunch of free gifts. Councillor Michelle Campbell, convener of Renfrewshire Council’s infrastructure, land and environment policy board, said: “Dog fouling is always high on the agenda when residents come to me with issues so we’re launching this new campaign to create a team of responsible dog owners across Renfrewshire.
