A young woman who was killed in a brutal dog attack was reportedly 'agitated and struggling to control' the animals just days before her awful death. The 28-year-old dog walker, whose identity has not yet been revealed, was mauled to death at a local beauty spot in Surrey on January 12 by a group of eight dogs she had been hired to look after.
She approached them to ask if she had seen the animal and they described her as being 'agitated' and 'distressed'. They also explained she had put the seven other canines she was walking back into the back of the car before frantically searching for the missing pup. The attack apparently happened after one dog bit another fellow dog walker before going for the woman. One witness said the other seven dogs then attacked the woman 'like a pack of wolves'.
An 11 stone Leonburger named Shiva is reported to be one of the canines seized by police. The dog previously appeared on a BBC show about problematic puppies.
