"They handed it to us pretty good this year, so we realize what we're up against," Padres manager Bob Melvin said. "It feels a little bit better now that we're not looking at the standings." Still, the Dodgers are solid favorites coming into the best-of-five NLDS that begins Tuesday night in Los Angeles. "It doesn't feel like you've been playing baseball for seven months when you get on that field tomorrow," Freeman said. "Nothing hurts. You're not tired. It's just kind of like the first day of spring training. Everyone is excited, ready to roll."
