Donald Trump, the former US president, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of retaining classified documents and obstruction of justice according to his legal team.
Trump faces seven criminal counts in the federal case brought by the US Department of Justice , which did not comment on the matter as it is not permitted for it to comment on the charges while the grand jury decision is under seal.
