BREAKING: On his 77th birthday, Donald Trump said ‘thank you’ to the ‘indictment hoax’ from the prior day for prompting him to raise $6.6million.
Trump raised $2.1million at his golf club at Bedminster, New Jersey, on Tuesday night, where he delivered his first address after being indicted hour earlier at a federal court in Miami. More than $4.5million came from digital fundraising.
‘The American people will not stand for this corrupt attempt to interfere in the 2024 election against the leading candidate for President who will demolish the Deep State and finish the job of draining the Swamp,’ stated the Trump campaign. His campaign added that ‘universal polling both nationally and statewide has shown President Trump holding insurmountable leads and is the only candidate who can beat Joe Biden in a general election’.The former president was otherwise quiet on his birthday. It was not immediately known how he spent the day privately.
