A Status Orange Snow/Ice warning is in place for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Clare, Connacht, Longford, Louth, Meath, Westmeath and a Status Yellow Snow-Ice warning is in place for the entirety of Ireland. Some schools may be impacted by the weather conditions on Friday, as areas badly affected by the conditions may choose to close schools for safety reasons.
