A popular retailer has urgently recalled one of its Halloween decorations over fears it could overheat and burn users. Shoppers are being told to stop using it immediately and return it for a full refund.
A popular Halloween decoration has been urgently recalled due to serious safety fears. The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission issued a warning yesterday about a Halloween Projector Torch.
The problem stems from a short circuit that can cause the torch to overheat, with the bottom of it melting. If touched while overheated, it could burn the user. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the torch and to keep it out of reach of children. A full refund will be provided upon returning the product to any of The Works' stores.
"The brand is The Works – Make & Create. The model is HAL24. The batch number is 173578. The bar code is 5052089358256. The item number is SWT034. There are approximately 82 products in the Republic of Ireland.
