The Chief Medical Officer warned that people who remain unprotected are still at risk of contracting the virus amid Delta variant fears
Dr Tony Holohan has urged unvaccinated people to keep following public health measures until they receive their jab.
In an update posted to Twitter Dr Holohan advised people to follow basic health measures to help avoid catching Covid. "Not going out and about and mingling if you have symptoms and arranging a test through your GP or a testing centre."
