PETALING JAYA: The government must address the speculation about the proposed merger between Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
"I understand that the original report by The Edge had quoted several sources. But, as the government, Pakatan Harapan should immediately step up to offer an explanation," the MCA president said on his Facebook post on Thursday .
He added that as a supposedly democratic government, Pakatan should consult various parties before making such an important decision, adding that it should not be done in a dictatorial manner or a"one-man show".
