RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne has allegedly been attacked in McDonald’s on Friday. She took to Twitter to share that the alleged homophobic attack took place in front of ‘kids and women’.
The 31-year-old, real name James Lee Williams, rose to fame after competing in the series in 2019, going on to star on the likes ofShe has now shared a horrific incident, alleging she was ‘attacked’ in front of ‘kids and women’.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: ‘Just been attacked in McDonald’s, Police on way. Homophobia alive and well folks! ‘First time I’ve never retaliated in a fight because I’m not gonna punch somebody in front of kids and women. #pieceofs**t.’ Her post was showered in support and well-wishes, with fans ‘sending love’ and commenting that they hope she’s okay.The Viv was the first winner of Drag Race UK
After making herstory on Dancing On Ice this year, when she was partnered with Colin Grafton, The Viv spoke about how grateful she is to be raising awareness on national TV, despite the ‘horrendous’ things happening within the LGBTQ+ community.
