"So good to be home boys," Drake said in the third quarter, lamenting that he's had to sip his drinks at home while watching games for too long. Rocking a blood red fuzzy Raptors jacket and jeans, the rapper chilled in his front-row seat with a headset on as he took in the action and kept the banter rolling.
"Everything's feeling great, looking great, so great to be around people again, see all these faces. I'm feeling in high spirits boys," he told the crew as he praised the young, athletic team. He also laughed about having a few of the players out to his place in the off season and being too gassed from finishing his most recent album to hit the court with them for an early-morning workout."I think I woke up in the pool that day from what I remember,' he joked.
Though he questioned his sartorial choice for the contest -- more of a game seven playoffs look if he's being honest -- Drake made time to comment on the Raptors' shoe game and gave a"Cash Money, let's go!!!" shout when one of his favorite players, Malachi Flynn, made an epic buzzer-beater half-court shot in the third quarter."The boys are fired up. It's the jacket for sure," he offered."Gotta be the jacket.
