Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall said Hennessey hit Mecum while turning left from Trindle Road onto 39th Street. Mecum was headed west on Trindle Road at the time, and had just pulled out of her Hampden Township driveway before she was killed. Junkin said Hennessey’s vehicle sustained minor fender-bender type damage. It was the kind of collision, he said, where if it would have involved two vehicles, any injuries would have been minor.
