EXCLUSIVE: A woman in her 30s has been arrested following the massive seizure that took place on the motorway in Co Louth
Associates of two on-the-run brothers involved in the deadly Drogheda feud have been dealt a severe blow after nearly €400,000 worth of cash was seized.
READ MORE: Massage sexual assault complainant later received message 'testosterone went through the roof' from accused, trial hears “This huge amount of cash seized has dealt a real blow to one of the feuding gangs in Drogheda,” a source told the Irish Mirror on Wednesday night. “The two brothers who are on the run are still operating in the town with their drug dealing through their associates and this seizure will certainly be a big blow to their pockets.”
The two brothers who lead one side of the feud have fled the country, while several others have been jailed for their roles in the conflict. However, the brothers still control a lot of the selling rights of drugs in the town, according to sources.
