The aerial shots taken over the Cambuslang area show a group gathered in a wooded area next to the blaze.
Smoke can be seen filling the air as a fire appliance is captured leaving the nearby station on Westburn Drive.No one was injured and the fire was successfully extinguished. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.43pm on Wednesday, April 26 to reports of a fire in the open on Westburn Road, Cambuslang.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene where firefighters extinguished a small fire on the waste ground behind a commercial premises. "There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene at 8.58pm after ensuring the area was safe.”
