The June bank holiday weekend is almost upon us - and if you're heading off to catch some sunshine with your extended weekend you may want to pay attention to the Dublin Airport warnings
The bank holiday weekend is the perfect time to catch a break, with Dublin Airport anticipating almost half a million visitors over the extended weekend.
Dublin Airport shared an update with travelers on Thursday morning to prevent any potential bank holiday travel disasters for those looking to get away for the extended weekend. The Dublin Airport website says that because the airport is just 10km from the city, it is accessible by bus, taxi, car, cycling or walking.
They said: "Please arrive two hours before short-haul flights, and three hours before long-haul flights."
