Dublin Airport has implemented temporary changes to its security rules regarding liquids in hand luggage, following new EU regulations. The rules differ between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Travelers are advised to check the specific requirements for their terminal.
Dublin Airport previously announced that they would be replacing their security scanners with newer C3 versions that would allow travellers to keep liquids in their bags.
The rules are slightly different for passengers depending on which terminal they are going through at Dublin Airport. The temporary EU rules affect all airports in Europe with the C3 scanners, however, travel expert Eoghan Corry believes that they won’t be around for the long-term.
