Dublin Bus driver 'threatens to call gardai' on woman because she had chicken nuggets in her bag
A bus driver allegedly threatened to call gardai after a stand-off with a passenger over chicken nuggets.It’s understood the driver took issue with the young black woman bringing the McDonald’s treat on to the bus, Dublin Live reports.
She then scoffed one and rather than waste the rest, put the remaining nuggets in her handbag and went upstairs. “He then said, ‘You can’t do that’ so I said OK and put the two in my bag – but then he said I couldn’t do that either, saying it’s to do with hygiene. He told me to get off the bus. She said: “After a while most people went down to him and told him what he was doing was wrong. He eventually started the bus again.”
