Dublin City Council issues statement after homeless man is critically injured near Grand Canal
Dublin City Council have released a statement saying their thoughts are with a homeless man who was critically injured in an incident on near Grand Canal in Dublin today.
He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he reportedly underwent surgery for what are said to be life-changing injuries. "An individual was injured during the process and was taken to hospital. The Dublin Regional Homeless Executive is currently liaising with the hospital and every support is being provided."The Executive has been engaging with the individual for some time and accommodation remains available to him.
