Hundreds of people gathered in Dublin on Monday evening in a demonstration of solidarity with Nikita Hand , who successfully sued UFC fighter Conor McGregor for damages in a civil case on Friday. Hand accused McGregor of rape in December 2018, and the verdict was seen as a significant victory for those fighting against violence against women. The protest march, organized by the socialist feminist group Rosa, was held to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
