A fire broke out in a flat complex in Dublin city centre in the early hours of Friday morning, leading to the evacuation of residents. Dublin Fire Brigade responded to the blaze near Gardiner Street and successfully extinguished the fire. One person received medical attention at the scene.

Residents of a flat complex in Dublin city centre had to be evacuated from their homes after a fire broke out in the early hours of Friday morning.

Four fire engines from Phibsborough and Tara Street fire stations responded and members of Dublin Fire Brigade worked to get the fire under control. Firefighters soon managed to quell the blaze and residents were permitted to return to their homes, with firefighters leaving the scene at around 2.30am.
