The 69-year-old was on the winning Dublin team in 1976 when they defeated Kerry to win the All-Ireland.
Dublin GAA legend Bernard Brogan Senior reckons the Boys in Blue will bring home the Sam Maguire on Sunday following a tough battle against current All Ireland champions Kerry.
“It’s been like this for years. Other teams go up and down but Kerry and Dublin always succeed in coming back.” When asked who he would be going to the match with Bernard Senior said his wife and Kerry woman Maria might come.But Bernard declared she wouldn’t be wearing her Kerry jersey. Gerry said he used to celebrate All Ireland finals in Copper Face Jacks but said nowadays he goes to bed when he used to be going out.
