A Dublin Lotto player narrowly missed out on becoming Ireland's newest millionaire after they were just one number short of winning Saturday's €2 million jackpot. Despite the heart-breaking near miss, the player still has a reason to celebrate as they landed a life-changing €81,820 prize for matching five numbers and the bonus. No one won the Lotto jackpot, but over 66,000 players across Lotto and Lotto Plus draws claimed prizes.
The winning ticket was purchased from Centra, Corduff, Blackcourt Avenue, Dublin 15. The winning Lotto numbers for Saturday, November 23rd, were 5, 9, 25, 36, 37, 40 and the Bonus was 33. The National Lottery is urging all players in the Dublin 15 area to check their tickets carefully. The Dublin player is not the only lucky winner as two other Irish players, one from Dublin and one from Kerry, each won a staggering €1 million in Friday's EuroMillions raffle draw. Friday's EuroMillions raffle draw guaranteed that 100 EuroMillions players across all nine participating countries would each win one of the €1 million raffle prizes. The winning Irish raffle codes were I-RKJ-86198 and I-RKS-16405.
