“It would be nice to turn what was a negative controversy about her wax sculpture into something positive that could involve Sinéad’s family and pay tribute to her legacy.”he would be “delighted” to lend support to a campaign for a statue to be made soon.There have been calls to introduce a statue of the late singer since a wax figure of her was unveiled at the National Wax Museum last Thursday.

The museum said the figure “did not meet our high standards or the expectations of Sinéad’s devoted fans". The museum thanked everyone who provided their feedback on the statue adding, “We assure you that your voices are heard”.
