Gavin Molloy swapped European football with Shelbourne for an opportunity to hit the ground running on the first day of pre-season at Aberdeen.
Despite his disappointment at losing such a key player, Damien Duff couldn’t help but admire Gavin Molloy’s determination to give himself every chance of breaking into the side at Aberdeen.
