Duff worked under Kenny briefly in 2020 before resigning from his post
Damien Duff has backed Stephen Kenny to transform St Pat’s ahead of his reunion with his former boss on Monday night.
Duff said: “Stephen is a League of Ireland legend and has a CV and a trophy cabinet and I and we can only envy at the moment. “But it’s all about Shelbourne now and what we can as a staff do to keep improving Shelbourne. So Pat’s, well done, it shows amazing ambition, a five and a half year deal and it is great he is back in the game, and back in his league, because I think Irish football runs through his veins.
