HRH is the Honorary Air Commodore for RAF Waddington
RAF Waddington was treated to a visit from the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, on Friday – as the Honorary Air Commodore for the base met key personnel including the Red Arrows.
Prince Edward, who was named as the Duke of Edinburgh on his 59th birthday in March 2023, has been the Honorary Air Commodore for RAF Waddington since 2008. During his trip he met with members of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Display Team, best known as the Red Arrows, to thank the pilots for their remarkable displays over London for King Charles III’s Coronation earlier this year.
