The Lilywhites were relegated from the Premier Division for the first time since 2008 last month
Dundalk FC have not yet been awarded a licence for the 2025 League of Ireland First Division season, however the club reports "significant progress" has been made in trying to acquire one.
It came amid huge financial issues off the field and the club's future remains unclear after the FAI announced they were not awarded a licence for the 2025 season on Wednesday. Dundalk FC said in a statement: "Dundalk FC can confirm that significant progress for Club Licensing 2025 has been made working with our partners in the FAI.
