Dune: The Sisterhood Prequel Series Adds Travis Fimmel, Details Character
Dune: The Sisterhood
. This marks Fimmel’s latest collaboration with the streamer after previous starring in Ridley Scott’sHe is set to portray the role of Desmond Hart, “a charismatic soldier with an enigmatic past, who seeks to gain the Emperor’s trust at the expense of the Sisterhood.” Fimmel is joining previously announced cast members Indira Varma, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Faoileann Cunningham, Aoife Hinds, and Chloe Lea.
The project hails from Legendary Television. It is created, written, and executive produced by Diane Ademu-John, who also serves as co-showrunner along with Alison Schapker. Executive producers are Schapker, Denis Villeneuve, Jon Spaihts, Scott Z. Burns, Matthew King, John Cameron, and Cait Collins, along with Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, and Kim Herbert on behalf of the Frank Herbert estate.
