A new Moana 2 clip has dropped for the upcoming animated sequel, starring Auli‘i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson.
“The film reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers,” reads the official synopsis. “After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”The video provides fans with a closer look at Maui’s return as he shows off his transformation powers.
Moana 2 is directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller from a screenplay co-written by Miller and Jared Bush. The original was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker.
