Claimants have received a one-off payment of £150
The Department for Work and Pensions has issued the cost of living payment to more than six million disability benefit claimants.
As reported by MEN, there’s a 'few' outstanding payments due to be made by July 4. To support households across the UK during the rising costs and cost of living crisis, the disability payment is being sent out alongside four other payments.Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mel Stride MP, said: "Tackling high inflation remains our priority as this is the best way we can ease pressure on households and help them with the cost of living.
Who will be able to receive the full £1,350 support? According to the DWP, the five cost of living payments will cover vulnerable households, pensioners, and those living with physical and mental disabilities. Here's a breakdown of all the five payments and when they can be expected:
