Dancing with the Stars viewers were left outraged that one contestant remains in the competition, claiming that it is 'a n insult to the other celebrities and the professional dancers', demanding we stop seeing the worst dancer remaining in the show every year.

Dancing with the Stars viewers were left furious following Sunday night's show after popular presenter Elaine Crowley was sent packing after her energetic 60s jive.

The Ireland AM presenter and her partner went back in time to the 60s and performed an energetic Jive to You Can’t Stop the Beat from Hairspray , bouncing back from last week's mistake to score 18. While fans flooded social media to support Elaine, with many in disbelief that the popular Virgin Media star had gone home.

There were only three judges on the panel this week – Brian Redmond, Karen Byrne and Arthur Gourounlian as Loraine Barry was forced to miss the show following the death of her beloved mother. Former Miss Universe Ireland, Aishah Akorede has a habit of getting high scores and that didn't change last night. The judges loved her take on a Cha-cha-cha to Rescue Me by Fontella Bass from Sister Act, giving her and pro partner Robert Rowinski 24.Brian Redmond added: "You set the standard for movie week. Mother Superior will be delighted!"
