Dying Light 2 may not have arrived with crazy high review scores, but it is selling extremely well regardless
Elsewhere on the list, we have Lost Ark, which comes out this week and these are Founder’s Pack sales, and Elden Ring, out in a few more weeks, and no surprise to see pre-orders going well for the inevitable GOTY contender already.
Dying Light 2 promises 500 hours of “100%” exploration time for its initial version here, and in addition to that, has a roadmap planning out more content for the rest of this year, along with a promise that the game will be continued to be supported with updates, patches, additions and DLC for the next five years.
Dying Light, with all these sales, has hit some very high metrics in terms of concurrent playercount. 274,000 was the peak on Steam, which actually beats out Halo Infinite, and it’s currently hovering inside the top 5. It’s an unequivocal hit for Techland, though February is about to get really busy, and we’ll see how long players stick around in its vast world.
