Eamon Ryan has promised a massive electric charging network will be in place within three years to help the Government meet its ambitious target of having one million EVs on our roads by 2030.
The overall €100million plan will also see home/apartment charging, residential neighbourhood charging , destination charging - like the sports clubs example - and en-route charging introduced over the next three years. “It’s happening already – EV sales are sky-rocketing - but the new infrastructure we are planning should take away concern or worry that people might have about access to charging points.”“The key anchor for this Strategy is the specialist ZEVI . unit.
