The ITV couple haven't been pictured together for weeks
Rumours were already circulating over the weekend with the couple's representative finally confirming the news. In a joint statement, the spokesperson said: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."
Eamonn has also been battling chronic pain in recent years and has been spotted in a wheelchair and crutches. Speaking about his declining health and the impact on their marriage, Ruth told Woman's Weekly: "I don't know how much Eamonn's mobility will improve. We live in hope. Ruth added: "I look at Eamonn, who's had his health and back problems, and it makes you realise how important your health is."
