Eamonn Holmes was spotted using a mobility scooter over the weekend as he enjoyed a trip with his new girlfriend, Katie Alexander.
Last week, Eamonn appeared to struggle as he presented his news broadcast. The dad-of-four was joined on the show by nineties icon, 71-year-old Mr Motivator - whose real name is Derrick Errol. The fitness guru tried to guide Eamonn through some simple exercises, but he admitted he was struggling.
It had followed his 2016 hip replacement and said his ailments had led to him having sleepless nights and being unable to drive. He also shared his chronic pain due to slip discs in 2021, while a year later underwent spinal surgery. He has admitted he fears he may never be able to walk again unaided following a slow recovery process, despite trying a host of rehabilitation techniques. "I have tried every treatment but you go: 'Maybe I'll never get out of it,' which is a harsh reality to face," Eamonn previously said.
