River Lee’s Pub has generated 116 police calls over the last two years, East Dundee police Chief James Krueger said.
River Lee's Pub at 6 E. Main St. had its liquor license suspended over the weekend and its owner was fined $4,000 for four liquor code violations that occurred in March.
River Lee’s Pub had its license suspended between 5 p.m. April 8 and 6 a.m. April 11 after it was determined by the East Dundee Liquor Commission that the 6 E. Main St. bar violated four village codes, officials said. Bar owner Fred Jones was fined $1,000 for each violation. Allowed “a heavily intoxicated patron to remain in the premises, where the level of intoxication was such that the person nodded in and out of consciousness,” the complaint said The patron was uncooperative when police and firefighters arrived about 7:45 p.m.
