Getting ready for her upcoming wedding, Janine, played by Charlie Brooks, got an unexpected visitor as Sonia worried about her obsession with Mick and his possible romance with ex-wife Linda
EastEnders fans were at the edge of their seats in tonight's episode as Ricky Butcher made his shock return.
The episode was largely focused around the Christmas lights party at The Vic, with Janine determined to work on her relationship with Mick Carter at any cost when she got a devastating update from bridesmaid Sonia Fowler as she continued to suspect there was still love between Mick and ex Linda Carter.
Viewers were just as shocked as Janine when they saw Ricky on the screen again since the last time he was seen was in 2012. Another viewer said: "I hardly ever watch #EastEnders ... Ricky is back! Have I time travelled back to the 90s."
