It was another devastating night for EastEnders fans on Wednesday as Lola Pearce was given just weeks left to live amid her worsening health.
In a devastating moment, the doctor revealed Lola had just weeks left to live, not months, but rather than be defeated by the news in front of her relatives, she managed to paint on a smile while her daughter Lexi visited. "I don’t want to be just a person lying in a bed unable to do anything, you know? That is not me. That is not who I am,” she continued.
However as the episode progressed, Billy soon softened to the idea of granting Lola her final wish, but only if she agreed to tell Jay about her plans first as she “owed him that much.”
