And after Eubank Jr and Benn were brought together for a face-off, a brawl quickly ensued after the latter was struck by an egg by his rival, with Benn almost sent to the floor by Eubank. Hearn also doubted Shalom's claim that Eubank told no one in his camp what he was going to do at the press conference. He said: "I thought it was glass at first. Whatever it was it's hit Conor in the eye. Everything that Eubank does is pre-meditated. He didn't go into the kitchen this morning, get an egg, not tell anyone what he was going to do and just turn up to the press conference.
