Who remembers last year's explosive ceremony?
Eddie Murphy couldn’t help himself on Wednesday as he joked about the infamous Will Smith slap while accepting the coveted Cecil B DeMille award.
During the final moments of his acceptance speech, Eddie, 61, shared three “simple” things to enjoy a long-last career. “The greatest to ever do it. #EddieMurphy,” wrote one fan, as another said, “Yeah Eddie still got it. If he comes back here is gonna make everyone else look less funny. Everyone.” The Aladdin actor proceeded to walk on stage and slap the comedian, which was subsequently talked about for weeks and resulted in an Oscars ceremony ban until 2032.
