Four energy companies have stopped the forced installation of prepayment meters after the industry has faced months of pressure 🔎 deankirby_ reports:

Their decisions follow that of British Gas which announced on Thursday that it is suspending all prepayment warrant activity “at least until the end of winter”., with magistrates warning they have “no choice” but to grant them.he would crack down on “trigger happy” firms forcing struggling families on to the metersBut he fell short of imposing a winter moratorium, which MPs and campaign groups have been calling for since December.
