Former Watford head coach Rob Edwards could be in line for a very quick return to management with several national newspapers reporting his is to be interviewed for the vacant job at Middlesbrough.
Ironically, Edwards’ final victory as Watford head coach came against Middlesbrough at Vicarage Road on August 30, when Vakoun Bayo’s stoppage-time goal gave the Hornets a 2-1 win.
