COLLEGE STATION — Eight was enough for Texas A&M. And at least for a night, it was like the good old days for the Aggies — with those being, in this case, a month ago.
The Aggies grabbed a 51-49 lead with 2:53 on Ethan Henderson’s dunk following a pinpoint pass from Andre Gordon, but Florida quickly countered with a 3-pointer by Tyree Appleby to regain a one-point lead with 2:31 left. “There’s no secret to it, it’s just a testament to the work we continued to put in,” Jackson said of pulling out the tight victory. “We’ve just got to keep working, and it paid off.”
